Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of EDGE CRM by business customers. «We», «us» and «EDGE» mean EDGE. «Customer» means the business that signs up for EDGE CRM.
1. The service
EDGE CRM is a CRM and shared inbox for sales teams. It lets a Customer receive and answer WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram conversations in one place, manage leads, and track a sales pipeline. We provide the service as described on our website and may improve or change it over time.
2. Accounts
- Access is by invitation from the Customer's administrators. The Customer decides who on its team has an account and which role they have.
- The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information it provides, for keeping sign-in details confidential, and for everything done through its accounts.
- The person who accepts these terms confirms they are authorised to bind the Customer.
3. Acceptable use
The Customer agrees not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive or abusive content;
- break the terms and policies of the messaging platforms it connects (including Meta's WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram terms and policies), or contact people without the consent those platforms and the law require;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to other customers' data, disrupt it, or reverse engineer it;
- upload malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others.
We may suspend access that breaks this section, after notice where reasonably possible.
4. Customer data
- The Customer owns its data: its contacts, conversations, messages, files and sales records. We claim no ownership of it.
- The Customer gives us the right to host and process that data only to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy. For the personal data of the Customer's own customers, the Customer is the controller and we act on its instructions as processor.
- The Customer is responsible for having a lawful basis, and any consent required, to collect and use that data.
- We do not sell Customer data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
5. Fees
Fees, billing period, payment terms and taxes are set out in the order form or subscription agreement signed with each Business.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service depends on third-party platforms such as Meta, and we are not responsible for changes to or outages of those platforms. We may change these terms by publishing the new version on this page; continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided «as is», we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees the Business paid in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
- The Customer may stop using the service at any time by writing to info@edgexcrm.net.
- We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, or for non-payment, after notice where reasonably possible.
- After termination we make the Customer's data available for export for a limited period, then delete it as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute is subject to the courts or dispute resolution process set out under that law.
